Film “Kumude Hidyo Hero Banna” Under Production

The Nepali feature film “Kumude Hidyo Hero Banna” is set to go into production. The film will be directed by debutant Janaki Panta Jun, who is also a writer and lyricist. The story revolves around a character who aspires to be a hero in every aspect of life.

The movie is being produced under the banner of Kumud Entertainment, with Bishnu Panta Sharma Acharya as producer, Chakra Bahadur Baral as co-producer, and Bhola Subedi and J Pranav as executive producers.

According to the production team, parts of the film will be shot in Dang, Pokhara, and Kathmandu, while some sequences will be filmed in the UK. Director Panta Jun stated that the film will be based on a biopic and true story.

The film’s muhurat (inaugural shoot) will begin this Monday in Ghorai, Dang. After approximately 20 days of shooting, the remaining sequences will be shot in the UK immediately after the Tihar festival, producer Bishnu Pant Sharma Acharya confirmed.

The lead role of Kumude will be played by actor Kumud Pant. The film will feature two heroines, though the names of the lead actresses are being kept confidential for now.

Kiran Dahal will handle the female action sequences, Bipin Acharya and Om Sunar will manage music and action direction, and Sandesh Shah will be in charge of editing. The film is scheduled to release in 2083 BS.
