Director Dinesh Raut Issues Technical Guidelines for 'Kumari' Sound Quality
Kathmandu. Director Dinesh Raut's highly anticipated film "Kumari" is set to release in cinemas nationwide this Magh 23. On the eve of its release, Director Raut has corresponded with theater technicians and projectionists across the country to provide technical information regarding the film's sound quality.
The film "Kumari" has been sound-mixed in a state-of-the-art immersive format. The production team stated that the sound design was crafted to ensure audiences receive a complete cinematic experience in theaters equipped with high-end technology.
According to Director Raut, the sound mixing and mastering were performed at a sound processor fader unit of 5.5. This level was maintained to preserve the "dynamics" of the audio and provide the audience with a realistic sound experience.
The production team noted that they have already completed trial shows at the 5.5 fader unit prior to the theatrical release. Director Raut mentioned that theaters have been requested not to screen the film at a volume unit lower than 5.5 to ensure there is no compromise in the film's effective presentation.
Prepared with high technical standards, "Kumari" is expected to take the technical quality of Nepali cinema to new heights. The film features Abhishek Khadka and Akriti Rajbhandari in lead roles and is produced by Mahendra Adhikari.
