Energy Minister's Advisory Group Fully Formed
Kathmandu: The Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, has finalized his advisory group.
The advisory team reached full strength on Thursday following Minister Shrestha's appointment of three new advisors.
Minister Shrestha appointed Ashutosh Tiwari as the Planning and Investment Advisor, Ramesh Poudel as the Policy Advisor, and Ganesh Karki as the Advisor (Private Sector). Prior to this, Bibek Raj Kandel had already been appointed as the Energy Advisor.
With these new appointments, Minister Shrestha's advisory group now comprises four experts specializing in energy, policy, planning and investment, and the private sector.
The minister's advisors will provide necessary recommendations and consultations on policy formation, planning, investment promotion, and coordination with the private sector within their respective fields.
According to the ministry, all advisors will serve in an honorary (unsalaried) capacity.
