Grand Concert for 'Kumari' in Pokhara: Audience Enthusiasm Signals Success
Pokhara – A grand concert organized in Pokhara to promote the upcoming Nepali cinema 'Kumari', directed by Dinesh Raut, has concluded with great enthusiasm. Managed by the Pokhara-based event management company Prachar, the concert was made special by the energetic participation of artists, music, and the audience.
During the concert, the lead actors of the film, Abhishek Khadka and Akriti Rajbhandari, interacted directly with the Pokhara audience. They spoke openly about their experiences during the film's production, their characters' journeys, and the emotional message carried by 'Kumari'.
They met with the audience while dancing to the song "Doko Bunne," which has recently gone viral on TikTok. The audience appeared thrilled to have the opportunity for direct interaction and conversation with the artists.
Taking the event to further heights, a powerful performance by Care Limbu and The Lunga Band kept the Pokhara crowd grooving. The live music, dance, and audience engagement made the concert memorable.
Abhishek Khadka, who is making his debut with Kumari, expressed his gratitude for the love and energy of the Pokhara audience, saying, "I am very happy to receive such energy from the audience in Pokhara. 'Kumari' is not just a movie for us; it is a story of emotions. The support we received here has made us even more confident."
Stating that he himself belongs to the Gen Z age group, he expressed confidence that 'Kumari' will receive support from the Gen Z generation.
Similarly, actress Akriti Rajbhandari mentioned that the intimacy shown by the audience made her emotional. "The response from the Pokhara audience is extremely positive. I believe the audience will resonate with the issues raised by 'Kumari'," she said.
Director Dinesh Raut stated that the enthusiasm seen in Pokhara clearly reflects the audience's expectations for 'Kumari'. "This atmosphere in Pokhara signals that 'Kumari' is moving in the right direction. The support and trust of the audience are our greatest strengths," he said.
Scheduled for nationwide release on February 6 (Magh 23), the enthusiasm of the Pokhara audience for 'Kumari' has signaled the film's potential success. The production team has urged all viewers to support Nepali cinema by visiting their nearest theaters to watch 'Kumari'.
