‘Koshedhunga’ Screening Resumes from Monday as Theaters Reopen

Kathmandu – The screening of the film Koshedhunga, directed by Saroj Poudel, who also directed the all-time successful movie Purnabahadurko Sarangi, has resumed from Monday.

By the second week of its release, Koshedhunga was being shown with high occupancy. However, due to the difficult situation in the country from Bhadra 23 (September 8), movie theaters were closed, and the screening of Koshedhunga was also halted. With theaters reopening on Monday, the film’s screenings have resumed.

The producers are confident that the movie will continue to receive positive responses, as it had garnered strong “word of mouth” before the closures. Director Poudel expressed optimism that Koshedhunga will continue to receive positive feedback from audiences.

“Our viewers have appreciated our film,” he said. “We are hopeful that we will continue to receive the same support and cooperation from the audience.”

Koshedhunga, which was released on Bhadra 12 (August 28), had already received strong word-of-mouth promotion across the country, prompting the producer, director, and cast to visit various locations to meet audiences outside Kathmandu. Producer Kishor Anurag said that with the positive feedback from viewers in different cities, they are optimistic that large audiences will watch the film.
