"Koshedhungā" Teej Song Released: Set for Historic Global Film Launch in Over 40 Countries
Kathmandu – The song from the Nepali film Koshedhungā has been officially released. Titled “Natra Bhane Jindagi Byartha Cha” (Otherwise, Life Is Meaningless), the song was released by the production team via Seven Seas International’s YouTube channel.
The lyrics are penned by Netra Aryal, with the hook line and music composed by Khem Century. The song is sung by Khem Century, Samikshya Adhikari, and Deepika Bayambu Magar.
Set in the context of Teej, the song portrays the contrast between married and unmarried women. It explores the positive aspects of being married, as well as the imagination and excitement unmarried women have about future partners.
The music video shows how both married and unmarried women express their emotions and enjoy themselves through Teej songs.
In the video, lead actresses Surakshya Panta and Niti Shah represent the unmarried perspective, expressing their imagination and curiosity. Richa Sharma portrays the love experienced after marriage. Actor Manzil Kumar, who is also unmarried, is seen proposing marriage and chasing Surakshya, who appears receptive to his advances.
This Teej song and its video preserve and celebrate Nepali Teej traditions. With its catchy beats and danceable choreography, it is expected to be played in upcoming Teej festivals as well.
