Dayahang and Bijay in a Standoff on the ‘Baristha Balram’ Poster

Kathmandu – The poster of the film ‘Baristha Balram’, which is set to release on Bhai Tika during Tihar, has been unveiled. Two posters of the film, directed by Surendra Poudel, have been released.
In the first poster, the film’s two lead actors, Dayahang Rai and Bijay Baral, appear along with other cast members. While Dayahang and Bijay occupy the central positions, the remaining actors are also visible.
Dayahang appears pensive, with only part of his face and body visible.Bijay is shown glaring at someone with an angry, contemplative expression.
Samriddhi Aryal is smiling, showing her teeth. Along with the three main actors—Dayahang, Bijay, and Samriddhi—five other actors are also featured in the poster. They are chasing someone on three motorcycles. Bijay is driving one of the bikes himself, while another is driven by Pradeep Chaudhary in a Madhesi look.
The poster has sparked curiosity about the film’s storyline.
In the other poster, the main duo, Dayahang and Bijay, are shown facing off against each other. This poster depicts a fierce confrontation, highlighting their struggle for dominance, with each trying to prove themselves as the senior.
The background features a highway with tipper trucks, suggesting they might be at a contract site.
‘Baristha Balram’, set to release on Kartik 6 (October 23) during Bhai Tika, is in post-production. The film features Dayahang Rai, Bijay Baral, Samriddhi Aryal, Pashupati Rai, Maotse Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, Rambabu Regmi, Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary (PK), and other actors.
The story and editing are by director Surendra Poudel, while the screenplay is written by Mahesh Dawadi.
Presented by Brishabh Siddhi Entertainment in collaboration with Anvi Films, the film is produced by Ashish H. Tamang and Shree Raj Karki.
Based on a social theme, the film was shot at various locations in Chitwan.
Cinematography is by Mankrishna Maharjan, with Taranath Neupane as chief assistant director. Music is composed by Prashant Shiwakoti, action direction by Samrat Basnet, and dance direction by Pradeep Lama.
The film will be distributed in the Kathmandu Valley by DCN and outside the valley by Kuber Cine Distribution.
