After Zen Z Movement, Police on Field Without Uniforms
Kathmandu – During the Zen Z movement on September 8 and 9, widespread vandalism, arson, and looting occurred at police stations across the country. Most police stations in the Kathmandu Valley were left in ruins, and three policemen lost their lives at the Maharajgunj and Koteshwor police precincts.
Despite this challenging situation, the Nepal Police have continued serving citizens with high morale. Policemen who lost their uniforms in the looting and arson are now working in the field without their official attire.
Traffic islands and other physical structures at various intersections in the valley were also damaged. Policemen are managing security and traffic regulation by standing on the remaining structures, even without their uniforms.
