Xi Jinping in India to Attend BRICS Summit

Kathmandu. Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in New Delhi, India, on Saturday to attend the 18th BRICS Summit. He is attending the summit hosted in New Delhi at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Xi's delegation includes Cai Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, as well as Wang Yi, member of the CPC Political Bureau and Foreign Minister of China.

During the 18th BRICS Summit hosted under India's presidency, top leaders of member nations are scheduled to discuss economic cooperation, global governance, trade, investment, and multilateral cooperation. — CCTV Plus
