US to Decide Iran's Fate via 'Easy or Hard Way'
Kathmandu — US President Donald Trump has stated that the United States will soon make a decision regarding Iran. He indicated that the situation with Iran will be resolved through either an "easy way or a hard way."
Speaking to reporters outside the White House on Saturday, Trump said, "I will make the decision on Iran. Iran is ruined. Now the only question is whether it will be the easy way or the hard way."
Trump, however, did not disclose further details about his upcoming strategy regarding Iran. On Friday as well, he declined to reveal his plans, claiming that making his strategy public would be major news. He asserted that Iran's current condition is far from good.
Earlier, speaking to reporters in Texas, Trump stated that a conflict with Iran would end "very quickly." He added that once the conflict comes to an end, global oil prices would drop sharply.
Trump claimed that Iran is suffering from an inflation rate of 301%, a weakened economy, and severe damage to its military capabilities. He emphasized that Iran must make a decisive choice regarding ending the conflict.
Preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear capability has long remained a primary priority of US foreign policy. Trump's latest remarks have raised sharp concern and interest over what steps the United States will take against Iran in the coming days. (ANI)
