Chandra’s ‘Aa Bata Aama’ Sold for Malta

Kathmandu: The poster and song of the Nepali film ‘Aa Bata Aama’ have been gaining a lot of attention since their release. After the audience liked the film's music, the international screening rights for the movie, which is set to release on Magh 16, are starting to sell.

The screening rights for this film, which is connected to the stories of Nepalis living abroad, are being sold quickly. Recently, the screening rights for Malta were sold. 

The production team and Malta-based distributors Subas Dhakal and Bikash Dhungana recently signed an agreement for the screening. Dhakal and Dhungana, who distribute films for Nepalis living there, purchased the movie.

The film's director, Chandra Panta, confirmed that the screening rights for Malta have been sold. "We have sold the screening rights for our film for Malta," he said. "We sold it for a good amount."

Director Panta is delighted after the high demand for his film abroad. Produced under Arya Entertainment, the film features main roles by Bipana Thapa, Paul Shah, Pradeep Rawat, Usha Upreti, Simran Panta, Saigrace Pokharel, Gajit Bista, and Begam Nepali.

Written and directed by Panta himself, the film's music is composed by Koshish Chhetri, Babul Giri, and Thaneshwor Gautam. Similarly, the choreography for the film's songs was done by Gambhir Bista and Dilip Okheda.

Nabaraj Upreti is the Director of Photography (DOP) for the film. The dialogues, written by Abhimanyu Nirabi, involved a collaboration between Amar Neupane, Abhimanyu Nirabi, and Chandra Panta. 

The film is produced by Krishna Prasad Subedi, Omkar Panta, Prakash Jung Kunwar, Dhruv Prasad Neupane, and Kshitiz Dhungana, with Karan Singh Rasali serving as the executive producer.

The film’s editing is handled by Milan Shrestha, while the trailer and teaser were created by Sahil Khan.

In Nepal, the distribution rights are held by RR Films, and the digital rights are with OSR Digital.
