Madan Krishna Shrestha released three songs by Yam Baral.

Three songs sung by singer Yam Baral have been released. During a program organized in the capital on Monday, the songs ‘Yo Saanjh Feri’, ‘Jun Ra Sunko’, and ‘Tender Maya’ were made public.

Senior artist Madan Krishna Shrestha was the chief guest of the program. Special guests including senior composer and professor Deepak Jangam, famous director and actress Deepashree Niraula, and senior journalist Rishi Dhamala released the songs and videos.

Among the released songs, ‘Yo Saanjh Feri’ has lyrics by Rakhi Gauchan and music by Shankar Thapa ‘Smile’. The music video is directed by Keshav Raj Bhatta, filmed by Aman Badu, edited by Rakesh Dahal, and features acting by Juna Karki and singer Baral.

Similarly, the second song ‘Jun Ra Sunko’ has lyrics by Sanjay Baral and music by Bikash Chaudhary. The music video was directed by the lyricist Baral himself, and it features acting by singer Baral, Shree Thapaliya, Suren Paudel, and Narayan Pradhan Saiju. The video was filmed by Bikram DC and edited by Bikash Dhamala.

The third song ‘Tender Maya’ also has lyrics by Sanjay Baral and music by Bikash Chaudhary. The video, directed by Nitin Chand, features acting by Sandipa Gautam, Navin Mahatara Chhetri, Rashila Shrestha, and singer Baral himself. Addressing the program, singer Baral said that he has returned to mainstream music after a long time. Having been active in music for 35 years, Baral said he is a singer who prefers practice and dedication over seeking cheap publicity. He stated that music is the only thing he knows, which is why he remains continuously active in it. Singer Baral also expressed his gratitude to the creators of the songs for trusting him and collaborating for these excellent works.

Composer Shankar Thapa ‘Smile’ praised Yam Baral's singing style. Thapa, who has composed many successful songs, said that a musical sweetness is found in Baral's voice. Speaking about ‘Yo Saanjh Feri’, he said they tried to present an excellent creation through the collaboration between singer Baral and lyricist Gauchan.

Addressing the program, chief guest Madan Krishna Shrestha said that Yam Baral’s voice is one of his favorites. Mentioning that he often remains emotional after losing his wife, artist Shrestha said that Baral’s songs have comforted his heart. He praised composer Thapa’s work and expressed his desire to sing a song to Thapa's music.

Similarly, composer Deepak Jangam discussed various aspects of the released songs. He said that excellent work has been prepared from every angle. Jangam commented that there is a wonderful balance of lyrics, music, and voice in the songs.

Senior journalist Rishi Dhamala also discussed Yam Baral's musical contribution. Dhamala said that Baral has played an important role in making Ilam known through music.

Special guest and famous artist/director Deepashree Niraula also praised Yam Baral's singing. Saying that she liked the released videos, she mentioned that Baral is her favorite singer.

The program was attended by Lyricists Association President Basanta Bityasi Thapa, Film Journalists Association President Samir Balami, former President and senior journalist Shantipriya, NRNA Korea founding President Ganga Raj Rai, music creator Ganesh Parajuli, and various other artists and respected personalities from different fields.
