Virinchi College to Host Three-Day ICT Expo from Thursday
Kathmandu — Virinchi College, located in Kumaripati, Lalitpur, is set to organize the ICT Mela 6.0 from December 11 to 13 (Mangsir 25–27).
The three-day event will showcase innovations, design, robotics, software, e-sports, and interactive technologies, the college announced.
The expo will feature innovative projects developed by bachelor-level students, including IoT solutions, robotics models, and software applications. Students from various schools and colleges will also participate to observe and interact with IT projects.
To make the event engaging and dynamic, several competitions will be held, including UI/UX Design, Robo Ramp Race, Robo Soccer, Content Creation Bonanza, Squid Game challenges, and an E-sports Tournament.
Likewise, interactive zones such as the AR Campus Hunt, Googler Challenge, Interactive ICT Zone, Peer & ICT Mentor Interaction Booth, and Future-Ready Career Counseling Corner will be major highlights of the expo.
According to Virinchi College, the ICT Mela gives students an opportunity to step outside the classroom and gain hands-on experience, collaboration opportunities, and deeper understanding of digital technologies. It also helps connect students with career prospects in the digital and tech sector.
The event will run from 10 AM to 5 PM daily, and entry is free for all visitors. Schools and colleges can also attend the expo in groups.
Virinchi College has been organizing the ICT Mela for the past five years, focusing on showcasing student-led projects and their technological capabilities.
