Addressing the gathering, the newly elected Chairperson Yu Bahadur Pun stated that the right time has come to repay the debt of the education the school provided them.
"The situation where our younger brothers and sisters studying in the same school where we learned our basics remain far from technology must not continue," Chairperson Pun said. "We will immediately implement the 'One Classroom, One Smart Board' project to take the school into the digital age."
The first meeting of the forum made significant decisions to install modern smart boards in every classroom, establish an e-library, and set up a scholarship endowment fund for economically underprivileged students. Secretary Pun mentioned that alumni across the world will be mobilized according to their educational batches for this campaign.
During the program, Headmaster Prakash Adhikari expressed his happiness, stating that this initiative by the former students has provided great energy to preserve the reputation of the community school and ensure quality education.
The gathering also passed the "Vidyodaya Declaration-2082" with the goal of making Vidyodaya completely technology-friendly within the next five years and increasing student enrollment and learning achievements.
At the end of the program, all participants made a collective commitment to provide physical, moral, and financial support for the development of their school.
