Shanti Srish Magar's 'UK Basne Dai' Music Video Released

Pokhara. The music video for the song 'UK Basne Dai...' sung by vocalist Shanti Srish Magar has been released. The song, composed by Suresh Rana Magar, features the male vocals of Sagar Ale.

The video was released by poet and lyricist Ramesh Shrestha at a program organized by the Lyricist Association on Friday. Expressing confidence that Shanti's song will touch the common Nepali populace, Shrestha said the originality presented in the video embodies the Nepali identity.

Vocalist and model Shanti Srish Magar clarified the stages of struggle she went through in the field of music after coming to Pokhara from Galakot, Baglung. She shared her experience that, despite not having formal knowledge of music in the past, her love for music grew simply by listening to the radio.

Recalling the difficult time when she had to stay away from music for a while in her life, Magar stated that her passion could not be stopped for any reason, proving its permanence. Her previously released songs include Phool Jastai Mero Joban, Jun Tara, Galchhi Jhareshi, and Base Parkhera, among others.

The video stars Shanti along with Bijay Pun, Chahana Rana Magar, and Ashwin Rana Magar.

In the program, which was chaired by Anurag Adhikari, President of the Association, well-wishes were expressed by former President of Pokhareli Youth Cultural Family Upendra Paudel, the video's director and model Bijay Pun, and others. The program was conducted by Secretary Rupindra Prabhabi.
