Former Madesh Province MP Ashok Yadav Released on NPR 300,000 Bail

Sarlahi — CPN leader and former Madesh Province Assembly member Ashok Kumar Yadav has been released on a bail of NPR 300,000.

A single bench of Judge Manoj Kumar Shrivastava at the Sarlahi District Court ordered his release on Wednesday upon depositing the NPR 300,000 bail amount.

A case was registered against Yadav on charges of criminal mischief and assault causing grievous bodily harm (dismemberment/permanent damage).

He was arrested on August 8 (Bhadra 23) from Dhapakhel, Lalitpur. Following his arrest, he was brought to Sarlahi to proceed with the investigation process.

He was released after submitting the required bail following the court order.
