Ujyalo Nepal Party Emerges Strong After 12 Days of Struggle, Demands Proportional Candidate Registration

Kathamndu — Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairman Kulman Ghising stated that the party, which has advanced with massive public support and trust, had to remain in a “coma” for 12 days.

Addressing the Ujyalo Jamkabet program organized by the party on Friday, he referred to the party’s recent alliance with Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), saying that the party, after staying in a dark tunnel for 12 days, has now emerged cleaner, purer, and more energetic.

He said, “The Ujyalo Party advanced significantly in a very short period after its formation. With the huge wave of public support and trust, the party had to remain in a coma for about 12 days.

During these 12 days in a dark tunnel, we suffered significant losses. Today, we have come out of that mud clean, pure, and full of energy.”
Chairman Ghising also alleged that the party was deliberately deprived of proportional representation candidates. Claiming that they could secure 2 to 2.5 million proportional votes, he demanded that the party be allowed to register candidates.

He said, “We were deliberately denied the opportunity to field even proportional candidates, despite being a newly formed party. This is a matter of serious concern. We demand that our candidates be registered. If we are not allowed to do so, we will launch protests in the future. We estimate we can secure 2 to 2.5 million proportional votes.”

He further asserted that the Ujyalo Nepal Party will never bend. Pledging to make the party the number one in the country, he expressed confidence that it will stand as a reliable political force.

He said, “From now on, the Ujyalo Nepal Party will never bend. There will never be any merger or unification with other parties. However, if anyone wants to join us, we welcome them. This party will become the number one party in the country. Ujyalo Nepal Party will stand as a trustworthy party.”
