Education Minister Pokharel to Hold Discussion with Political Journalists
Kathmandu — Minister for Education and Sports and Government Spokesperson, Sasmit Pokharel, is set to interact today with journalists covering political affairs across various media outlets.
The interaction program, scheduled for 3:00 PM at the Ministry in Singha Durbar, will focus on addressing issues and challenges in information flow, policy reforms, and enhancing coordination between the government and the media.
According to the Ministry, the discussion will cover ways to make official information dissemination organized, transparent, and effective. It will also serve as a platform to exchange views on the challenges faced by journalists while reporting news and how to make the flow of information smoother and more credible.
Journalists covering the political beat for various media organizations have been invited to the interaction.
Recently, Minister Pokharel has been continuously engaging with various stakeholders—including media outlets, journalists from the education and political beats, educational institutions, and private sector representatives—prioritizing policy reforms, transparency, and effective coordination based on their feedback.
The Ministry expressed confidence that such dialogues will further strengthen the collaboration between the government and the media.
