Welcome Ceremony for First-Year Undergraduate Students at Triveni College

Lekhnath: The Student Welfare Committee of Triveni International College organized a welcome program for newly enrolled undergraduate students on Friday.

Speaking at the welcome program, Durga Prasad Subedi, Chairperson of Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 30, mentioned that the dreams of parents and the college are linked to the students' studies and urged them to focus on their education. 

He encouraged the students, who have come from different schools after completing +2, to become more responsible after reaching the undergraduate level. 

He stated that despite having two universities in Lekhnath, the attraction of students toward Triveni College, which is run by the private sector, has been possible due to efficient management.

During the program, Suman Bhattarai, Chairperson of the College Management Committee, mentioned that they have been successful in achieving excellent results due to the trust of parents, the hard work of students, and the coordination of teachers. 

Bhattarai stated that there has been collaboration with various institutions in Lekhnath to manage the manpower produced by the college. He said that the college is focusing on quality education while cooperating with new students regarding their problems.

In the program chaired by Bibek KC, President of the Student Welfare Committee, former Chairperson of the College Management Committee Baburam Giri, outgoing Campus Chief Yadu Raj Acharya, founding President of the Welfare Committee Kamal Gautam, Vice President of the Welfare Committee Swachchhanda Atreya, Amisha Tiwari, and others welcomed the newcomers and urged them to be responsible in their studies. 

Undergraduate students performed songs and music during the program.

The program was conducted by students Kabita Bhattarai and Binod B.K. In the college where BBS is taught, 217 new students have been enrolled in the undergraduate level, while 649 students are currently studying in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the college.
