Title Song of Film ‘Rimai’ Released, Dayahang–Rishma Pair Back on Screen

The title song of the film Rimai, directed by Khil Bahadur Gurung, has been released. Scheduled for nationwide release on Bhadra 20, the song features lead actors Dayahang Rai, Rishma Gurung, Arpan Thapa, and Gaumaya Gurung.

Released on Wednesday, the song has lyrics and composition by Deepak Sharma, with vocals by Rita KC and Anshu Lama (Ash Bahadur Gurung). Set in a Gurung cultural setting, the song’s audio and video appear likely to excite audiences. One of the major attractions is the return of Dayahang Rai and Rishma Gurung as the beloved on-screen pair “Kaji and Maiya” after a long time, heightening anticipation for the film.

Presented by Gorkha Siranchok & Ligligkot Films Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with Roteping Entertainment, the film also stars Kabita Ale Magar, Mao Tse Gurung, Pushkar Gurung, Bir Maya Gurung, birbal Ghale, DB Gurung, Tek Gurung, and child actors Ashim Subba, Prestu Gurung, and Prashna Rana Magar.

Written by Upendra Subba, the film has cinematography by Shailendra Dhoj Karki. Birbal Ghale is the executive producer, while Tika Gurung, Jit Yatri Gurung, and Dun Bahadur Ghale serve as producers, with Binu Gurung, Roshan Bhattarai, and Rajesh Ghimire as co-producers.

The music is composed by Dipak Sharma and Thaneshwor Gautam, Kiran Chamling Rai is the chief assistant director, Bishnu Mainali is the production manager, and editing is by Mitra D. Gurung.
