The Teaser for the Film 'Bigul,' Which Carries the Voice of Politics and Society, Released

Kathmandu, December 14.

The teaser for the film 'Bigul' was released on Sunday. The one-minute-and-a-quarter-long teaser for 'Bigul,' which is set to be released on January 22, indicates that it will generate curiosity about the film.

At a time when the first-look poster is gaining traction, the released teaser appears to present the context of the country's current politics, patriotism, relationships-responsibilities, and the Gen Z movement.

'Bigul,' directed by Ramesh Koirala, has Dinesh Koirala as its storyteller and producer. In an environment where numerous films on similar subjects are abundant in the market, 'Bigul' has woven its story with a blend of politics, family, society, relationships, and entertainment.

Director Koirala believes that, besides entertainment, the film will also inform the audience about the kind of events and politics happening in their homes, society, and country. "We made 'Bigul' with the idea that a film should be viewed not just for entertainment but also as a concept," says the senior director Koirala, who previously directed the films 'Man Manma,' 'Lila,' and 'Nirmaya.' "The film can play a role in making every citizen responsible towards their country and society."

Storyteller and producer Koirala has consistently stated that the main issue they have raised in 'Bigul' aligns perfectly with the current demands of the Gen Z generation and the common Nepali desire for national development and change.

'Bigul,' which is dedicated to the Gen Z movement, features the acting of Benisha Hamal, Naren Khadka, Ramesh Budhathoki, Neer Shah, Saroj Khanal, Hemanta Budhathoki, Shishir Wangdel, Binod Neupane, JN Ghimire, Gita Adhikari, Mira Pandit, Manashree Sharma, and others.

Presented by Kalpana Paudel under the banner of Magnolia Group, the screenplay and dialogue were written by Pradip Bhardwaj and Maunata Shrestha. The film features cinematography by Shiva Dhakal, choreography by Kamal Rai and Kabiraj Gahatraj, action direction by NB Maharjan, music by Bishwaprakash Sharma, Arjun Pokharel, and Manoj Chaulagain, and editing by Tara Thapa 'Kimvhe.' Suryakanta Koirala and Mahesh Koirala are the co-producers, and the film will be distributed by Kafiya Films and Shree Banquets Entertainment.
