Actor Arpan says films like ‘The Blue Light’ are rarely made

Kathmandu. Actor Arpan Thapa has stated that movies like ‘The Blue Light’ are seldom produced. Arpan mentions that a director like Baliram Chauhan is essential to create a film such as ‘The Blue Light’.

“Films like The Blue Light are not easily made. To create such a movie, you need a director like Baliram Chauhan,” Arpan said during the auspicious filming ceremony (Subha-Muhurat) of ‘The Blue Light’. “Many movies are made, but such films are not created often, and they require a specific kind of director.”

He praised several scenes and the presentation of the film. “Audiences will discover many things after watching the movie,” Arpan says. Arpan himself is a director and writer, and he is known as a versatile actor.

Most of the film's cast can be seen in the trailer. Produced in the psychological thriller genre, ‘The Blue Light’ features Benisha Hamal, Arpan Thapa, Ayushman Desraj Joshi, Shristi Shrestha, Mahesh Tripathi, and Surakshya Etani in lead roles. Child actors include Grishma Katuwal and Sahara Sharma.

Directed by Baliram Chauhan, the film is set to be released on Magh 16. Presented by Skyfall Pictures, Bholanath Katuwal and Raman Gray serve as co-producers for ‘The Blue Light’. Cinematographer Narendra Mainali and actress Benisha Hamal are the executive producers.

With cinematography by Narendra Mainali, Akash Ukheda is the chief assistant director of the film. Relija Shrestha is the production designer, and Dilip Pant is the production controller.
