Movie 'The Blue Light' Releasing Nationwide from Magh 16

The movie 'The Blue Light' is scheduled to be released in theaters across the country starting this Magh 16. Directed by Baliram Chauhan, the film has generated curiosity among the audience even before its screening.

According to Director Chauhan, this movie is not just a story to watch and forget, but a special cinema that the audience will experience deeply. The film attempts to portray the complexities of the human mind, loneliness, and the fine line between reality and illusion on screen.

After the release of the movie's trailer, many speculated it to be a film of the 'horror' genre. However, Director Chauhan clarified, saying, "Our movie is not horror; it is a psychological drama-thriller. However, some scenes will certainly give the audience a sense of fear."

Lately, the trend of new directors entering and leaving the Nepali film industry has been increasing. In this context, Director Chauhan presents himself differently. He says, "I haven't come to the film industry to become an overnight hit or to disappear in the same way. I have entered the film industry prepared for a long journey. My contribution and destination will be different from others."

Benisha Hamal and Arpan Thapa are seen in the lead roles in the movie 'The Blue Light'. The director informed that the story of the movie revolves around these two characters. Despite a large gathering of established actors, Chauhan claims there were no disputes regarding roles and that all actors found novelty in their characters.

"We have tried to show the themes of love, betrayal, and revenge in a new style. The emotions and feelings of the characters within this are very sensitive, which will give the audience a new kind of experience," he said.

At a time when Nepali movies have been continuously disappointing the audience, the production team seems confident that 'The Blue Light' will win the hearts of the viewers.

Produced in the psychological thriller genre, the movie 'The Blue Light' stars Benisha Hamal, Arpan Thapa, Ayushman Desraj Joshi, Shristi Shrestha, Mahesh Tripathi, and Surakshya Etani in lead roles. Child actors Grishma Katuwal and Sahara Sharma are also in 'The Blue Light'.

Presented by Skyfall Pictures, Bholanath Katuwal and Raman Gray are the co-producers of 'The Blue Light'. Cinematographer Narendra Mainali and actress Benisha Hamal are the executive producers.

The film, shot by Narendra Mainali, has Akash Ukheda as the chief assistant director. Relija Shrestha is the production designer, and Dilip Panta is the production controller.

The movie 'The Blue Light' is the debut direction of Baliram Chauhan.
