Joseph Wins Top Title at Thailand’s ‘I.M. Model Search’

Kathmandu: Nepali boy Joseph Rai has successfully won the top title at the international children's modeling competition ‘I.M. Model Search’ held in Korat, Thailand. 

Along with the top title in the Junior Club category, he also secured the subtitles for ‘The Most Promising Model’ and ‘Best in Gossage.’ Manaswi Basnet, who participated alongside him, earned ‘The Most Promising Model’ subtitle.

Children from 18 to 20 countries participated in the six-day competition held from January 13 to 18. Manaswi is the winner of the Nepali competition ‘Millennium Kids International 2026’ organized by Radiant Event Management Agency, while Joseph is the winner of ‘Kiddy Face of the Year International 2025.’ International model and fashion coach Raj Faiju also participated in the competition with the children.

In the competition, which gave special priority to tourism promotion and original culture, Manaswi presented the attire and culture representing Nepal’s Sherpa community, while Joseph showcased the original dress and identity of the Rai community.
