‘Teej Queen’ Sunita Dulal Releases New Teej Song ‘Chalise Chura’

Kathmandu — Popular folk singer Sunita Dulal, known as the ‘Teej Queen,’ has released her new Teej song Chalise Chura. Composed by Shambhujeet Baskota with lyrics by Chiranjeebi Bhatta, the colorful and lively music video features actress Eliza Gautam, Sharmila Malla, Hauty Notty, Poonam Shrestha, Jayan Subba Manandhar, and Dulal herself.

Directed by Tenju Yonjan, the video was released through Sunita Dulal’s YouTube channel. Dulal said the song blends cultural tradition with modern presentation. Known for Teej hits like Nabola Aru Sanga, Piyari, and Yo Ramailo Tijaima, she expressed confidence that Chalise Chura will also win hearts.

Though Teej is still weeks away, social media is already in a festive mood, with Chalise Chura drawing strong attention among the many Teej-themed releases.
