Surendra Pandey Objects to Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal's' Parliamentary Remarks
Kathmandu. In the first meeting of the House of Representatives held on Thursday, leader Surendra Pandey expressed objection to the remarks made by UML leader Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal'. Pandey criticized the expression given by Badal in parliament through social media on Friday.
He wrote, "Yesterday in parliament, long stories were heard, in which the blame was given to everyone else—the army did not protect, the employees did not obey, and technology caused the defeat." According to Pandey, the tendency to shift blame only onto others is wrong, and it must be clarified that the government's incompetence is also responsible.
He also called for an end to hiding weaknesses in politics, keeping cadres in confusion, and pushing toward extremism. Pandey wrote, "Let's not hide our own weaknesses, keep cadres in delusion, and push toward extremism. The investigation of 23/24 must happen—but we must not ignore the reality that our politics does not match the aspirations of the people."
Stating that nationalist politics has become very old, he said that the line of Nepal's economic reform is the true nationalist one. He wrote, "Now, this 'nationalist' politics of claiming to be 'under siege' has become very old. The only true nationalist line now is Nepal's economic reform; all the rest are just individual agendas."
