High Demand but Few Shows: Viewers Struggle to Watch ‘Abhimanyu’
Kathmandu. The film 'Abhimanyu: Chapter 1', which received a historic number of shows in the foreign market, has entered its second week in the domestic market starting today. The movie, which was released last Thursday, has entered its second week as of today.
Even though it has entered the second week, there are not many showtimes available. However, the audience occupancy in the shows that are running is good. Consequently, audiences from various places are tagging the production team members on social media, saying, "We can't watch the movie, there are no shows, we need shows."
After receiving positive reviews from both the public and critics, the audience is eager to watch the film but is complaining on social media because they are unable to find showtimes.
The production team stated that despite the good reviews and everyone saying the film is good, the lack of expected showtimes and fewer audiences is raising the question of why one should take on new work and challenges.
Sushant Gautam has directed 'Abhimanyu,' with Madan Thapa serving as the creative director. The film's screenplay was written by Mukesh Khanal.
The main roles in the film are played by actors including Kameshwor Chaurasiya, Laxmi Bardewa, Kiran Shrestha, Sarita Giri, Gaumaya Gurung, and Shishir Bangdel.
The producers of 'Abhimanyu: Chapter 1' are Binod Paudel and Gunjan Giri. Ramesh Chaulagain and Hari Shrestha are co-producers, and the executive producers are Bishal Lama, Hari Moktan, Krishna Bhattarai, Nirajan Luintel, and Sandesh Shrestha. Jivan Shakya is the line producer for the cinema.
