Happy Minds Founder Shreeya Giri Honored in London

London – Shreeya Giri, the founder of Happy Minds, an organization working in the field of mental health in Nepal, has been honored in a ceremony in London as one of the 'Women of the Future: 50 Rising Stars.'

The names of the 50 women, all under 35 and selected from around the world, including Shreeya, were announced on Monday at a ceremony held at the Financial Times headquarters.

"As the founder of a Nepali startup working in the mental health sector, this honor is deeply encouraging for me," said Shreeya. "It reflects the collective spirit of young Nepalis bringing light, kindness, and courage, especially at a time when our country is experiencing a mental health crisis."

Happy Minds has been collaborating with various organizations to increase public awareness about mental health, mobilize investment in mental health services, and create supportive community spaces.

The 'Women of the Future: 50 Rising Stars in ESG' campaign is supported by leading UK companies, including Tesco, Reed Smith LLP, and the Financial Times.

This campaign recognizes young women under the age of 35 from across the globe who are bringing about meaningful change in the fields of Environment, Sustainability, and Governance (ESG).

Last year, Forbes Asia recognized Shreeya's contribution in the field of mental health advocacy and youth inspiration by listing her on their '30 Under 30 – Social Impact' list.

Shreeya stated that Happy Minds (www.happyminds.health) has launched free mental health consultation services specifically for youth, women, and pregnant individuals, citing a rise in mental health issues among these groups following the violent incidents during the Gen Z movement.
