Monviso Nepal Foundation Donates NPR 2 Million to Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund

Kathmandu — Monviso Nepal Foundation has donated NPR 2 million to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund to assist in the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the Bhotekoshi River floods.

With the objective of providing support to families affected by the Bhotekoshi flood that occurred on August 26, the Foundation's Chairman, Chhongba Lama Sherpa, and Treasurer, Lakpa Temba Sherpa, met with Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle to hand over the donation check.

Member of the House of Representatives Prakash Singh Karki was also present at the check handover ceremony. The Foundation is not limiting its support to financial aid alone; it is also preparing to provide food and clothing worth an additional NPR 5 million for the flood victims.

Furthermore, the Foundation announced that it will provide an additional NPR 1 million in assistance to affected families in Solukhumbu who lost family members in the Bhotekoshi flood.
