Film 'Shirjara – SONG OF GRANDMOTHER' to be produced as a joint venture by Nepal, the USA, and Poland
Kathmandu. The film 'Shirjara – SONG OF GRANDMOTHER' is set to be produced as a joint venture between Nepal, the United States, and Poland.
Nepal's Kingdom Network, America's Fracture LLC, and Poland's Fixja Films will collaborate on the production of the film.
The film will be written and directed by Bikash Subedi and produced by Subash Bhusal (Nepal). Chris Beruti (USA) will serve as the executive producer for the film, and the post-production work is reported to take place in Poland.
Although the film is stated to be a meta-modern philosophical drama, the story has not been revealed yet.
The film is currently in pre-production, and shooting will begin in February 2026. Producer Bhusal has informed that details about the cast and crew will be announced in a few days.
