Ramechhap: 2,461 Students Participate in SEE Exams Starting Today

Ramechhap. A total of 2,461 students from Ramechhap district are participating in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) which commenced today. According to the Education Development and Coordination Unit, Ramechhap, this total includes regular students as well as 155 students from the technical stream and 201 students appearing for grade increment exams.

Unit Chief Netra Prasad Gajurel stated that 14 examination centers have been designated across the district this year. In previous years, examinations were conducted at 19 centers, while 24 centers were established in 2080 BS. He informed that although the number of centers has been reduced this year, the management has been made more effective.

For this year, only one examination center each has been designated in Umakunda, Gokulganga, Khandadevi, Doramba Sailung, and Sunapati Rural Municipalities. Similarly, two centers have been established in Likhu Tamakoshi Rural Municipality, specifically in Dhobi and Khipti.

Five examination centers have been designated in Manthali Municipality. These are located at Phulasi, Nag Kanya Secondary School, Manthali Secondary School (A and B), and Manthali Campus. Additionally, two examination centers have been set up in Ramechhap Municipality.

The district's sole examination center for the technical stream has been established at Manthali Secondary School in Manthali. Furthermore, the grade increment examination center for students who previously received lower grades has been set up at Nag Kanya Secondary School, Gadwari, in Manthali Municipality-1.

According to the unit, 14 superintendents have been oriented and deployed to ensure the examination management is organized and effective. The Education Development and Coordination Unit stated that all relevant district agencies have been mobilized to conduct this year's SEE examination in a peaceful, dignified, and systematic manner.
