Filming of Nepali Sci-Fi Movie ‘Eklo’ Completed
Kathmandu – The filming of the Nepali science-fiction movie ‘Eklo’ has been completed. According to director Pradeep Shahi, the remaining song shoot has also been finished, marking the end of the film’s principal photography. The song, shot on a grand set in Kathmandu, features Kabita Nepali, with vocals by Swapnil Sharma, music by Rohit Shakya, and choreography by Kabita Nepali. Executive producer Binod Subedi ‘Kshitij’ stated that the song will be released during Dashain.
Post-production is underway in London, with plans to release the film in mid-January during Christmas. Pradeep Khadka plays the lead role, and the previously released teaser featured actors including Bijay Lama, Diya Pun, Kabita Nepali, Jamie Beken, and Benisha Hamal.
Director Shahi aims to deliver Hollywood-level technology and presentation. The technical team includes Babu Shrestha (cinematography), Raju Tamang (action direction), Raju Painter (set design), Santosh Lama (art direction), and Dronprasad Paudel ‘Theuke’ (production design).
Other main cast members include Bijay Lama, Sunil Thapa, Diya Pun, Benisha Hamal, Kabita Nepali, and Jamie Beken.
