RPP Chair Rajendra Lingden Teams Up with Three Youths to Launch Employment Generation Project

Kathmandu — Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, and current Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Lingden is set to embark on a new initiative aimed at tackling Nepal’s rising unemployment problem. He is collaborating with three dynamic youths to develop a project focused on job creation and youth empowerment.

Lingden has joined hands with computer engineering students Sijan Khadka and Sagar Giri from Pulchowk Campus, along with Yaman Bhurtel, a central member of the RPP student wing. The initiative aims to directly connect services and products to consumers while engaging creative and skilled youth in meaningful employment.

Announcing the collaboration on Facebook this Friday, Lingden shared his vision: “A dream: employment generation… delivering services and products directly to consumers, with creative youth.” His statement reflects the broader goal of empowering young people and contributing to building a self-reliant Nepal.

The project has already garnered widespread support and optimism, with many expressing hope that it will pave the way for sustainable economic opportunities for the nation’s youth.
