Lumbini Province Declares Public Holiday Today

Kathmandu: The Lumbini Province government has announced a public holiday today. The holiday has been declared on Friday on the occasion of Maghe Sankranti and the Tharu community's Maghi festival.

According to the notice issued in the Provincial Gazette (Chaitra 21, 2081 BS), the decision to grant the holiday has been implemented. Lok Bahadur Sunar, Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, provided this information.
