Presidential Graduate School’s 2-Day Innovista Concludes, Attracting Over 2,000 Visitors
More than 2,000 visitors attended the two-day Innovista exhibition hosted by the Presidential Graduate School. The Presidential Graduate School operates in affiliation with Westcliff University in the USA. According to Director and Principal Kalpana Gurung, the opening ceremony drew a diverse crowd of over 2,000 attendees, including notable figures such as businessman Saurabh Jyoti, young entrepreneur Sanjog Koirala, vlogger Sandesh Tamang, and popular media personality Pratima Adhikari.
Founding Chairman Laxman KC shared that the college plans to bridge the gap between its IT and Business students, collaborating to transform these projects into market-ready startups and investment opportunities. In total, more than 200 students from the Presidential Graduate School and 34 students from various other colleges demonstrated their innovations at the Technoversity Pavilion. Dr. Suresh Pokharel, the college's IT Head and Director, noted that the projects spanned several categories, including Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence, IoT and Robotics, Cyber Village, Software, and Technoversity.-1782543381.jpg)
According to Dr. Pokharel, the 55 student-led projects featured highly engaging creations. Students pitched and explained their work to parents and peers, showcasing an FPV drone designed to shower flowers, football-playing Robo Soccer units, a robot that dances to music, and an AI-driven emotion detection system that recommends music based on facial expressions. Dr. Pokharel added that cybersecurity projects addressing online fraud, data leaks, and bank account safety were also prominent features of the exhibition.
With a current enrollment of around 1,400 students, over 90 professors, and more than 45 management staff, Presidential Graduate School has steadily established itself as a premier destination for students.
