President Ramchandra Paudel and Acting Prime Minister Swarnim Wagle Hold Meeting

Kathmandu. A courtesy meeting took place between President Ramchandra Paudel and Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, who is also serving as the Acting Prime Minister. The meeting was held on Wednesday morning at the presidential residence, Sheetal Niwas.

During the meeting, discussions were held on contemporary issues. After Prime Minister Balendra Shah departed for the United States on Tuesday to attend the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations, the President assigned the responsibility of Acting Prime Minister to Finance Minister Dr. Wagle upon the Prime Minister's recommendation.

On the Prime Minister's recommendation, the responsibilities of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have also been assigned to him.
