Kailali, March 1.
Prem Bahadur Ale has further intensified his election campaign in Kailali Constituency No. 5.
Ale, the House of Representatives candidate representing the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), completed an extensive door-to-door and voter interaction program in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2 today.
Starting the door-to-door campaign early in the morning, candidate Ale visited local neighborhoods to engage in direct dialogue with voters.
He expressed his commitment to working in a way that would make the people of Kailali-5 proud after winning the upcoming election.
"After I am elected, I will work so that the heads of the people here are never bowed in shame. I will visit all 21 wards every month to understand the problems of the people and take initiatives for solutions," he said.
During the campaign, he stated that he would prioritize issues such as education, health, employment, drainage, drinking water, and infrastructure development.
He mentioned that he would work in coordination with the federal, provincial, and local governments to resolve the long-term problems seen in this region.
He also committed to bringing special programs to make the youth self-employed, improving the quality of community schools, and managing necessary manpower and equipment in health institutions.
There was significant participation from local residents in the door-to-door program. Voters raised their grievances regarding drinking water issues, road upgrades, unemployment, marketing of agricultural products, and flood control.
Candidate Ale assured them that all those issues would be prioritized and solved in a planned manner.
Meanwhile, about 100 youth and women joined the NCP in Ward No. 2 today.
Candidate Ale and party leader Om Pun welcomed the newcomers with garlands and khadas.
Those joining the party stated that they became affiliated with the NCP for the development and stability of the region.
Speaking at a corner meeting organized during the campaign, leaders said their goal is to make Kailali-5 a model area for development.
They pledged to complete projects left unfinished in the past, highlight the potential of the agriculture and tourism sectors, and create an environment where the youth do not have to migrate abroad.
Currently, the election atmosphere in Kailali-5 has heated up. Candidates from various parties are reaching out to voters with their respective agendas.
In this context, Prem Bahadur Ale's active door-to-door campaign and the party entry program have made the electoral competition in this region more interesting.
Local residents have stated that they will choose a development-oriented and accountable leadership this time.
