Trailer for Suraj and Binita-Starrer Film 'PR' Released

Kathmandu. The trailer for the film 'PR', directed by Shobhit Basnet, has been released. The production team released the 3-minute and 1-second long trailer at a press conference on Tuesday.

The trailer narrates the story of young people who travel from Nepal to Australia for studies. The dream of these young people, who reached Australia by taking out loans, is to obtain PR (Permanent Residency). 

Director Basnet has captured on screen the situation where the son sent with a loan from Nepal is unable to send money back, and the parents cannot understand the circumstances there. 

Watching the trailer, the film attempts to convey a message of love story, separation, and the idea that one's own country is the best.

The film is set for a nationwide release on Mangsir 26th. R A Suraj Poudel and Binita Karki, who reside in Australia, have arrived in Nepal for the promotion of the film.

Besides their lead roles, the film features Rajan Kunwar, Pooja Chaudhary, Ashma Adhikari Mastani, Bimala Khatri, Ganesh Budhathoki, Max Krishna Thapa, and Nabin Ghayal in major roles. 

In special roles, Neer Shah, Gauri Malla, Rabindra Khadka, Uttam K.C. Nepal, and Dikpal Karki can also be seen.

The production side believes that Neer Shah's dialogue in the trailer, 'Nepali youth's prime invested in Australia,' will touch the hearts of the audience.

The film, made under the banner of Salon Salina Films, is presented by Ranjit Sah and Santosh Tiwari, with investment from Laxman Sapkota and Pradeep Dahal.

The film was cinematographed by Saurabh Sayami and Saurabh Lama, and edited by Bande Prasad. 

Additionally, the film is written by Ganesh Budhathoki, with music by Manas Raj for the songs, and vocals by Sanup Poudel and Nitu Pun. 

The choreography is by Ramji Lamichhane, and the distribution is being handled by RR Films.
