'PR' Screening Rights Sold for Hong Kong–Macau and Portugal
Kathmandu. The film 'PR', directed by Sobhit Basnet, is also set to be screened in Hong Kong–Macau and Portugal. The production team has announced the sale of screening rights for Hong Kong and Portugal.
According to director Basnet, the screening rights for Hong Kong were purchased by Akash Banjara, director of Himalayas Craft HK Limited.
Similarly, Sukdev Adhikari and Mahesh Nyaure, representatives of Kawasoti Portugal Association, have acquired the screening rights for Portugal.
Now, 'PR' will be screened in Hong Kong and Portugal, along with Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
Director Basnet said, "The film 'PR' has already been sold out in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, along with Hong Kong and Portugal. Talks are underway for the film's screening in other countries as well."
According to the film's presenters, Ranjit Sah (RFM Facility Management) and Santosh Tiwari (Carriers Gateway), the demand from abroad has been very high in recent days, which has increased the film's international appeal.
The film, which is scheduled for release on the 26th of Mansir, had special screenings in various locations in Australia a month ago. Most of the audience who watched the show gave positive feedback, stating the film was well-made.
The film stars R.A. Suraj Paudel, Binita Karki, Rajan Kunwar, Puja Chaudhary, Ashma Adhikari Mastani, Bimla Khatri, Ganesh Budhathoki, Max Krishna Thapa, and Nabin Ghayal in lead roles. Nir Shah, Gauri Malla, Rabindra Khadka, Uttam K.C. Nepal, and Dikpal Karki can also be seen in special roles.
Ranjit Sah and Santosh Tiwari are the presenters of this film, with Laxman Sapkota and Pradip Dahal as investors. Bande Prasad edited the film, and he also cut the film's trailer. The story of the film is written by Ganesh Budhathoki.
The film was shot by two cameramen, Saurav Sayami and Saurav Lama, and the choreography was done by Ramji Lamichhane.
The film's songs feature music by Manas Raj and vocals by Sanup Paudel and Nitu Pun. The film, produced under the banner of Salon Salina Films, will be distributed by RR Films.
