PM Oli Claims: Clear Improvement in Economy, Significant Progress Within a Year
Kathmandu — Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has claimed that Nepal’s economy has seen notable improvement during his government's one-year tenure. Sharing key economic figures on social media, he stated that the size of the economy has increased by NPR 400 billion, reaching NPR 6.1 trillion.
According to him, revenue collection has risen by NPR 108 billion compared to last year. Similarly, capital expenditure has increased by NPR 36 billion from the previous year.
PM Oli also highlighted that the projected economic growth rate is 4.61 percent, up from 3.87 percent in the previous year, calling it a positive sign.
He attributed this economic progress to the government’s policy implementation and overall economic stability, stating that the economy is now moving in a positive direction.
