After the success of ‘Boksi Ko Ghar,’ Keki is making ‘Petrol Pump’

Kathmandu – The team behind last year’s Nepali blockbuster ‘Boksi Ko Ghar’ is collaborating on a new film. Actress Keki Adhikari and director Sulakshan Bharti have announced the production of a new movie titled ‘Petrol Pump.’

“At the time of ‘Boksi Ko Ghar’s’ release, we had said that if an interesting project and timing aligned, we would collaborate again,” Keki said. “That time has now come with ‘Petrol Pump.’”

The film will be directed by Sulakshan Bharti, who has also written the story. Keki Adhikari will serve as the producer. In the previous film, ‘Boksi Ko Ghar,’ Sulakshan was also both the writer and director, while Keki was the producer.

The social drama film ‘Petrol Pump’ is scheduled to be released in 2083 B.S. The production team has not yet revealed the cast.

“We will provide detailed information later about who will be in the cast of ‘Petrol Pump’ and the technical crew,” Keki said.

In ‘Boksi Ko Ghar,’ both Keki and Sulakshan acted, with Keki in the lead role.

Produced by Badri Adhikari, ‘Boksi Ko Ghar’ grossed over 11 crore at the Nepali box office. It was Keki’s first film as a producer, and it became a blockbuster. The song ‘Bujhina Maile’ from the film also went viral.

“In our first film ‘Boksi Ko Ghar,’ we brought a fresh approach to the audience, which they loved. We will try to bring the same freshness to this new film as well,” Keki said.
