'Pariwartan' Receives PG Certificate from Censor Board
Kathmandu. The action film 'Pariwartan', scheduled for release this Friday, Magh 9, has passed its censor review. The Film Censor Board gave the film a PG certificate, meaning viewers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to watch it.
The film is directed by veteran director Vijay Kerung. Following the censor pass, Director Kerung stated that the film received a PG certificate because it addresses contemporary subject matter and political upheaval. He noted that the requirement for guardians for viewers under 16 is due to certain frightening scenes.
The film's songs and trailer have recently been trending. The song 'Pakeko Chiuri' has become extremely popular, and the trailer reached over 1.1 million views in a short time.
The film stars Sushil Shrestha, Anjana Baraili, Saroj Khanal, Karishma Manandhar, Buddhi Tamang, Hemant Budhathoki, and Subash Meche in lead roles.
Produced under the banner of Divyasi Films, 'Pariwartan' is produced by Deepak Siwakoti. The story is by producer Siwakoti himself, while the screenplay and dialogues were written by Shivam Adhikari.
Created in the action-suspense genre, the film features editing by Bande Prasad, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, and music by SD Yogi. The film also features action direction by Shree Shrestha.
Shree Shrestha has recently gained significant attention and praise for his action direction. The film is distributed by RR Films in collaboration with OSR Digital. The movie will be released across Nepal this Friday, Magh 9.
