'Paran' Earns $62,000 in Four Days in Australia, Secures Sixth Position at the Box Office

The film 'Paran,' which has made a significant leap at the Nepali box office this year, has continued its successful run not only in the domestic box office but also in the diaspora.The film has begun with a strong business start at the Australian box office.

According to Dev Raj Karki of the distributor company Namaste Entertainment, the interest shown by Nepali audiences in Australia towards 'Paran' is commendable. Namaste Entertainment has obtained the rights to screen 'Paran' in Australia and New Zealand.

Karki states that 'Paran' has earned 62 thousand Australian dollars as of the fourth day of its release in Australia. Furthermore, it is being screened in Australia with more than 30 shows.

According to the film's producer, Ranjit Acharya, based on the box office collection of the first four days in Australia, 'Paran' has secured the sixth position.

'Paran' is being screened in Australia alongside Bollywood and Hollywood films. Considering this, it is estimated that 'Paran' will cross the income mark of 1 lakh Australian dollars by the end of this week at the Australian box office.

In Nepal's box office, the film's earnings have so far crossed 14 crore rupees. As of the fourth Saturday, the film has earned a gross of 14 crore 16 lakh 51 thousand 392 rupees at the box office.

The film was also successful in earning more than 1 crore rupees on its fourth Saturday. The film was publicly released on Kartik 14. Before its release, the film was not viewed as a movie capable of high business.

'Paran,' directed by Deepak Prasad Acharya, features actors like Nir Shah, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Pooja Chand, Keki Adhikari, Anjana Baraili, Pravin Khatiwada, Mahesh Tripathi, and Buddhi Tamang. The film is financed by Ranjit Acharya and Shekhar Golchha.
