Who is starring opposite Suraksha in “Koshedhunga”?
“Koshedhunga” is a female-centric Nepali movie led by actress Suraksha Panta. From its theme poster, teasers, and songs — including the TikTok-hit “Natra Bhane Jindagi Byartha Cha” and the romantic “Bhangera Bhageri” — it’s clear that newcomer Manzil Kumar from Chitwan plays Suraksha’s on-screen partner. Known for his work in a few stage plays, Manzil takes on the lead role here as a village character, calling it a rare chance to work with a respected director and seasoned actors.
Directed by Saroj Paudel, best known for “Purna Bahadur’s Sarangi,” the film was shot in Syangja’s Aadhikhola, Triveni, and Sirubari. The cast also includes Aryan Sigdel, Richa Sharma, Niti Shah, Prabin Khatiwada, Saroj Khanal, Bishal Pahadi, and others. Produced by Prabil Kandel and Kishor Anurag under Nardevi Films, “Koshedhunga” will be released on Bhadra 12 (August 28) simultaneously in more than 42 countries — a record for Nepali cinema. The production team hopes this milestone will help raise Nepali films to new international heights.
