KP Sharma Oli Equates Opposition Alliances to a Coalition of Chickens and Goats Against a Tiger

Kathmandu: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has remarked that a front made up of chickens, goats, and jackals cannot hunt a tiger.

Speaking on Tuesday at a symposium in Kathmandu titled "Messages of the 11th General Convention of UML and Political Solutions," Oli stated that the weak naturally form alliances to fight the strong. He claimed that seeing the "massive" presence of the UML, a front of "chickens and goats" has been formed.

"Looking at the massive UML, they are saying 'let's you and I unite' and 'let's unite with them too.' They want to unite because they have to clash with a giant UML," Oli said. "Can a front of chickens, goats, and jackals hunt a tiger or a lion? Can they compete? The job of the weak is to form fronts. To fight the strong, the weak must unite; one such union is happening tonight, and another will happen tomorrow."

Similarly, Oli commented that people are already being named Prime Minister even before the elections have taken place. He stated that he is waiting and preparing to give a fitting response to this.

"The General Convention has prepared us to respond at the next opportunity. The debate over who is popular in the country will continue until the elections. People have already appointed a Prime Minister, but we are waiting for the election. Whether it happens on  Phagun,Baishakh, or next Mangsir, we are waiting," he said.

Oli added that just as the General Convention provided answers to many questions, the upcoming election will deliver a "national verdict." He emphasized that the General Convention has sent a clear message that the party is ready for that challenge.
