NRNA Conducts On-Site Assessment of Damage to the Federal Parliament Building

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has initiated an assessment of damaged structures to support their reconstruction in collaboration with the Government of Nepal, following the nationwide Gen Z movement on September 8 and 9 that caused widespread destruction.
In this context, on Tuesday, 16 September, a team led by NRNA Vice President Rozina Pradhan Rai and Chief Executive Director Rajendra Kumar Raut conducted an on-site inspection of the Federal Parliament Building to assess damage caused by arson.
The team also included NRNA Secretary Swatantra Pratap Shah along with other officials and staff from the central office.
NRNA has stated that it will evaluate the physical and financial damages caused during the movement and provide necessary support and collaboration with the government for the reconstruction of the affected structures.
