Second Grand Children's Talent Identification Festival and Sports Competition Concludes
Pokhara. The Second Grand Children's Talent Identification Festival and Sports Competition – 2082, organized by National PABSON, Kaski, has concluded.
One thousand five hundred students from 43 schools affiliated with N-PABSON Kaski competed in various categories in the competition.
The Children's Talent Identification events included Group Folk Dance, Solo Singing, Drawing/Painting, Poem Recitation, Acting, Science and Technology, Handicrafts—materials made from leaves, straw, and bamboo strips—and English Oratory Competition.
Students from Class 9 to 12 participated in the English Oratory Competition, while students from Class 1 to 10 participated in the other competitions.
Regarding the sports competitions, there was Cricket for students from Class 1 to 10 and Futsal for Classes 11 and 12.
Furthermore, Kaski Modernized Academy won the title in Cricket. Kaski clinched the title by defeating Tribeni Public S.S. in the final match by 19 runs. Tribeni was second, while National Creation Academy and Gyanjyoti Bidyakunja S.S. secured third place.
New Galaxy S.S. claimed the Futsal title. New Galaxy clinched the title by defeating Oxford School 3–1 in the final match. Oxford was second, while Kaski Modernized Academy and Shree Ratnajyoti S.S. came third.
In the Drawing/Painting Competition, Anshu Pandey of Shining Star Boarding School came first, Yuna Ale of Kaski Modernized Academy came second, Skand Bam Malla of Labin Residential School came third, and Divika Garbuja of New Galaxy S.S. received consolation.
In the Handicraft Competition (Materials made from leaves), Yugmaya Vishwakarma and Sophia Pun of Gyanjyoti Bidyakunja S.S. came first, Reshma Thapa and Ipsa Ghale of Gorkha English Boarding School, and Manju Tamang and Sonia Pokharel of Hemjabo School came second, Yunika Bhari and Alisha Pariyar of Lavin Residential School came third, and Sophia Adhikari and Kamana Bhandari of Bagmara Academy School received consolation.
In the Handicraft Competition (Materials made from straw/paddy stubble/corn silk), Shraddha Dahal and Rashmi Devkota of Sunrise Preparatory School and Jaysmin Dura and Anuja Pun of Gorkha English Boarding School came first, Ashika Bhujel and Reshma Kushuwar of New Galaxy S.S. came second, Simran Kumal and Shriya K.C. of Lavin Residential School came third, and Rakshya Gurung and Anu Gurung of Kantipur Academy, and Sagun Chhetri and Kismat Thapa of Hillside English School received consolation.
In the Handicraft Competition (Materials made from bamboo strips), Manjil Pun and Asal Pun of Gorkha English Boarding School came first, Samiksha Pariyar and Sristi Thapa Magar of Alpha Academy came second, Dipson Pun and Dipson B.K. of Lavin Residential School came third, and Bibas Rasaili and Prayas Tamang of Hemja Boarding School, and Samir Nepali and Asim Nepali of Gyanjyoti Bidyakunja S.S. received consolation.
In the Poem Recitation Competition, Sonika Timsina of Hemja Boarding School came first, Dilakshya Sunar of Buds Academy came second, Kevin Timsina of Lavin Residential School came third, and Lina Gurung of Oxford School received consolation.
In the Science and Technology Competition, Diya Rana and Aarav Thapa of Gorkha English Boarding School came first, Sulabh Paule and Shishir Ojha of L P Devkota Memorial School came second, Dipesh Kandel and Vikas Gaire of Tribeni Public S.S. came third, and Prabesh Paudel and Rijan Malla of Shining Star Boarding School received consolation.
In the English Oratory Competition, Prerana Gurung of Kaski Modernized Academy came first, Nisma Gurung of Tribeni Public S.S. came second, Kanchan Gurung of Shree Ratna Jyoti S.S. came third, and Asmi Lamichhane of Oasis Secondary School and Jessica Bania of New Galaxy S.S. received consolation.
In the Solo Acting Competition, Karan B.K. of Oxford School came first, Pawan Bhattarai of Shree Ratna Jyoti S.S. and Sujata Chhetri of Kaski Modernized Academy came second, Biyas Purja Pun of Lavin Residential School and Smriti Subedi of Universe Boarding School came third, and Jessica Gurung of Gyan Jyoti Bidyakunja S.S. and Isha Parajuli of Hillside English School received consolation.
In the Solo Singing Competition, Deeplakshya Sunar of Buds Academy came first, Prashanna Gurung of Kaski Modernized Academy came second, Anupa Rai of Pioneer English Academy came third, and Aatmik Bhari of Lavin Residential School received consolation.
In the Group Folk Dance Competition, Gyan Jyoti Bidyakunja S.S. came first, Buds Academy and Tribeni Public S.S. came second, Lavin Residential School came third, and Kaski Modernized Academy received consolation. Trophies, medals, and certificates were distributed to the victorious students and schools.
Speaking at the program, Hem Prasad Acharya, Head of the Education Division of Pokhara Metropolitan City, stated that N-PABSON Kaski had done an excellent job of identifying students' talents. Ram Bahadur Mochi, Central Vice President of N-PABSON, stated that the festival was timely.
The program, held under the chairmanship of Hemant Adhikari, President of National PABSON Kaski, was conducted by Secretary Premraj Adhikari.
