"Now America Sings" – Teej Special Musical Event in New Hampshire

On the auspicious occasion of Teej, a grand musical program titled "Now America Sings" will be held in Manchester, New Hampshire, USA, on Saturday, August 30 (Bhadra 14). The event is organized by Everest Cultural Group – America, with co-organization from Murra Brothers NH and the NH Didi Bahini Group.
The program will take place at the Manchester Community Music School Hall starting at 5 PM. Renowned artists, including veteran folk-duet singer Badri Pangeni, popular singer Pratap Das, melodious vocalist Elina Chauhan, and folk-duet singer Kala Lamsal, will perform their popular songs.
According to the organizers, Nepali artists arriving from Nepal for Teej will provide the Nepali community in the United States with a memorable evening of entertainment. All preparations have been completed, and ticket sales are reported to be encouraging.
Kiran Gurung, President of Everest Cultural Group America and the NH Didi Bahini Group, expressed confidence that the event will contribute to the preservation and promotion of authentic Nepali music. Som Gurung, President of Murra Brothers NH, said the love and enthusiasm from the community has given them more encouragement.
General Secretary of the organizing body, popular artist, and program host Surendra Gurung invited all Nepalis in the US to attend this historic event, expressing his belief that the celebration will serve as a bridge connecting Nepali hearts through music.
