Nepathya Band to Perform First-Ever Concert in Siliguri on February 28

The Nepali musical band Nepathya is set to perform for the first time in Siliguri, India. Nepathya will present its music at "Nepathya Live Siliguri," organized by PVE Network, a Nepali company registered in India, on February 28.

The concert will take place in the area behind the Kawakhali Ground at Utsodhara Teesta Township. According to the organizers, the concert is being held to establish cultural exchange among Nepali music lovers in Eastern India and the Himalayan region in Siliguri, which is known as the gateway to North Bengal.

The Siliguri concert is the second major international live concert to be organized by PVE Network in this region. Bikesh Kayastha, founder of PVE Network, stated that bringing Nepathya to Siliguri is a reflection of the organization's confidence.

He mentioned that audiences in this region deserve to experience large concerts live, and their goal is to provide a world-class concert experience while honoring Nepathya's musical and cultural heritage. According to Kayastha, audiences from Nepal and Bhutan are expected to participate, and interest has also been shown by viewers from Mumbai, Bengaluru, New Delhi, and the Northeast region of India.

The organizers made early bird tickets available online, which have already sold out. According to the organizers, only limited tickets currently remain. In Nepal, tickets are available through Khalti by IME as the ticketing partner.

Established three decades ago, Nepathya is among the influential bands in South Asia. Their music is based on social life, migration, identity, and shared memory. Their songs have previously become popular in North Bengal, Sikkim, Nepal, and neighboring regions. This concert is the second-largest ticketed concert in the history of the Siliguri edition, following a similar concert previously held there by Arijit Singh.

Previously, the proprietary IP concert "Let's Get Loud – India Series" presented Sajjan Raj Vaidya. The "Let's Get Loud – India Series" took place last November in Siliguri and Gangtok, Sikkim, with over 12,000 attendees. The Gangtok show is portrayed as the most successful ticketed live concert in Sikkim.

Nepathya has performed hundreds of concerts in Nepal as well as the UAE, Australia, Europe, Japan, and the USA. PVE Network has established itself as a leading entertainment platform in South Asia, having conducted 300 events in more than 40 cities and collaborating with 50 Nepali artists.Nepathya-(3)-1768892809.jpg
