Mobile Garage App Launches First On-the-Spot Vehicle Repair Service

Kathmandu. For the first time in Nepal, vehicle repair services will be available through a mobile application. 

At a program held in Kathmandu on Saturday, it was announced that solutions to vehicle problems will now be available through the mobile phones people use.

Launching the application named Mobile Garage, it was informed that problems in any vehicle being driven can be resolved right where the breakdown occurs.

It was stated that the application was developed to allow vehicle users to search for and invite a mechanic, and for the mechanic to reach the exact breakdown spot to perform the repairs.

Mobile Garage engineer Ratan Bisht gave a presentation providing information about the features of the application.

Speaking from the guest seat at the launch event, Superintendent of Police Naresh Subedi of the Valley Traffic Police Office said that people's daily lives are at risk of being disrupted without the help of technology. 

He suggested that the Mobile Garage application could bring a new dimension to solving vehicle problems.

He added that solving vehicle problems through such an application could also be helpful in traffic management.

Chief Guest Ashish Gajurel, Executive Director of the Nepal Intermodal Transport Development Committee under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, stated that the Mobile Garage application would be extremely effective.

He mentioned that his field of study was also transportation engineering, and he is always speaking on the subject of transport. He expressed great happiness upon seeing such an application developed for the first time in Nepal.

Omkar Paudel, Chairman of the company, who presided over the program, said that they developed the application after a long period of study. 

He expressed confidence that it would not only solve sudden vehicle breakdowns but also play an effective role in providing employment to unemployed mechanics and engineers who have studied the subject. He also urged people to download and use the application.

The application, which has been dubbed a mobile app that connects skill with solution, saw a large attendance from leaders and engineers related to the automobile business at the public ceremony. 

With its launch on Saturday, relevant service users can now download and start using the application.
